Regional Sales Manager

About the role

The Regional Sales Manager will lead all sales and distribution activities across an assigned cluster, ensuring smooth operations and continuous growth for Zong products. This role involves frequent market visits, team supervision, and close collaboration with trade partners.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee sales and distribution activities within the territory, maintaining seamless operations.
• Conduct regular market visits to monitor stock levels and increase market penetration.
• Enforce distribution policies and ensure discipline across the channel.
• Supervise Grid Managers, guiding their teams to meet targets.
• Evaluate potential outlets based on shop count, coverage, financial strength, logistics, brand affiliation, and reputation.
• Communicate SOP updates, targets, and trade promotions to channel partners.
• Ensure the sales team is fully trained on all company products.
• Maintain strong relationships with franchises, distributors, and trade partners.
• Coordinate timely incentive and commission payments.
• Monitor pricing and margin compliance throughout the sales channel.
• Provide POS materials to retailers and ensure proper display.
• Address commission, payout, and legal queries from partners.
• Identify challenges faced by franchise and retail channels and report to Regional Director.
• Collaborate with Trade Marketing on BTL activities, promotions, and events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales, distribution, or channel management.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate sales teams.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics and retail channel operations.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
