Registrar – Fixed‑Term Contract (Higher Education)

About the role

The University of Layyah is seeking a qualified Registrar to lead its academic and administrative functions on a three‑year fixed‑term basis. This senior position reports to the Vice‑Chancellor and plays a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, governance, and efficient service delivery within the institution.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee registration, record‑keeping, and student data management across all faculties.
• Coordinate examination schedules, results processing, and certification issuance.
• Ensure compliance with higher‑education regulations and internal policies.
• Manage budgeting, financial reporting, and audit processes related to the registrar’s office.
• Liaise with external bodies, including the Higher Education Commission and government agencies.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Auditing or an equivalent master’s degree.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in a higher‑education commission or public‑sector organization.
• Demonstrated leadership and strategic planning abilities.
• Pakistani national domiciled in Punjab.
