Remote Accountant (US GAAP) – $90-$100/hr

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant with strong knowledge of US GAAP to join a leading software development firm on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, preparing statements, and supporting tax compliance. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure the financial integrity of high‑impact projects.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with US GAAP.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support financial planning and analysis.

Required profile

• Proficiency in US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with month‑end close processes and reconciliation tasks.
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance requirements for US‑based entities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
