Remote Accountant (US GAAP Experience)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Accountant with solid experience in US GAAP to support a leading software development firm on a contract basis. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with US accounting standards, and assisting month‑end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date financial records in accordance with US GAAP.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Assist with federal and state tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on financial planning and analysis.

Required profile

• Proven experience with US GAAP and financial reporting.
• Hands‑on experience in month‑end close and account reconciliations.
• Knowledge of US tax compliance for corporate entities.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
