About the role
We are seeking a remote Accountant with strong US GAAP experience to support a global software development leader. This contract position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while handling core accounting functions for US‑based entities.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with US GAAP.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Assist with federal and state tax filings and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on financial planning and analysis.
Required profile
- Proficiency in US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with month‑end close processes and account reconciliations.
- Strong knowledge of US tax compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
