Remote Call Operator - Online English Academy

About the role

Velorexa Academy is an international online English language academy offering personalized one-to-one lessons in speaking, communication, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary and fluency. It is looking for a dependable Call Operator to support learner enquiries and help prospective students understand its practical English programs. The position is based in Karachi but is offered as a fully remote role.

Key responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing calls with prospective and current learners in a professional, friendly manner.
• Provide accurate information about available English programs and the personalized online learning experience.
• Understand callers' needs, record enquiry details and direct complex questions to the right team member.
• Follow up on enquiries as assigned and keep call records timely and organized.
• Use approved communication processes while protecting learner information.
• Share recurring questions or feedback with the team to improve learner support.

Required profile

• Confident, courteous telephone communication and clear spoken English.
• Active listening, conversational fluency and the ability to explain things simply.
• Strong customer-service skills, patience, empathy and a learner-focused approach.
• Able to ask relevant questions, identify caller needs and route enquiries appropriately.
• Accurate note-taking and organized maintenance of call and follow-up records.
• Professional handling of learner information and attention to confidentiality.
• Reliable time management, punctuality and consistent follow-through.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate with an online team.

Required skills

• Comfort using a computer, internet calling tools and basic digital record-keeping systems.
• Clear spoken English and active listening.
