Remote Candidate Calling Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Remote Candidate Calling Specialist to join our recruitment team. In this fully remote position you will be the first point of contact for prospective applicants, introducing them to career opportunities, assessing their fit, and scheduling interviews with hiring managers.

Key responsibilities

• Make 150–250 outbound calls daily using company‑provided candidate leads.
• Conduct structured phone screenings to evaluate qualifications, communication skills, and interest.
• Explain open positions clearly and answer candidate questions professionally.
• Apply established hiring criteria to recommend qualified candidates.
• Coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers and recruiting staff.
• Document all interactions and keep records up‑to‑date in the CRM and applicant tracking system.
• Follow up with candidates on interview confirmations and hiring updates.
• Meet daily outreach, screening, and scheduling targets while maintaining a positive candidate experience.
• Perform additional recruitment support and administrative tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong phone etiquette, active listening, and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfortable handling a high volume of outbound calls in a goal‑driven environment.
• Highly organized with great attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Reliable computer, mobile phone, stable electricity, and primary and backup internet connections.
• Previous experience in recruiting, customer service, staffing, call‑center operations, appointment setting, sales, or HR is preferred but not required.
