Remote Cold Calling Specialist

About the role

A remote position for a motivated, confident Cold Calling Specialist who acts as the first point of contact for prospective clients. The specialist introduces the company's services, qualifies leads and books meetings for the sales team. The ideal candidate is a persuasive communicator who stays positive through rejection and enjoys starting conversations with new people.

Key responsibilities

• Make high-volume outbound calls to prospective clients and decision-makers
• Introduce the company's services and communicate their value clearly and professionally
• Qualify leads by understanding prospects' needs, budget and timelines
• Handle objections and keep conversations moving toward a next step
• Book appointments, demos or discovery calls for the sales team
• Follow up with interested prospects by phone and email
• Record call notes, outcomes and lead details in the CRM
• Meet or exceed daily and weekly targets for calls, conversations and booked meetings
• Share prospect feedback and market insights with the team

Required profile

• 1-3 years of experience in cold calling, telemarketing, outbound sales or lead generation
• Excellent spoken English with a clear, confident and professional phone manner
• Strong persuasion, active listening and objection-handling skills
• Resilience and a results-driven, self-motivated attitude
• Comfortable working toward performance targets and KPIs
• Good time management and the discipline to work independently from home

Required skills

• Basic CRM and computer skills, such as Zoho, Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
• Reliable computer, headset and stable high-speed internet connection
• Preferred: experience in communications, staffing or B2B services; familiarity with CRM and dialer tools; proven track record of meeting call and appointment-setting targets
