Remote Cyber Security Analyst – Part‑Time

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Remote Cyber Security Analyst to join a global technology leader. In this role you will monitor security events, investigate incidents and help safeguard critical infrastructure and sensitive data.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse security events from SIEM platforms, firewalls and IDS/IPS.
• Investigate security incidents, determine scope, impact and root cause.
• Implement and maintain security controls to reduce risk.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation.
• Prepare detailed incident reports with findings and recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk or QRadar.
• Strong knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
