Remote Data Analyst – SQL for AI Pipelines

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join a leading AI organization on a contract basis. Working remotely, you will design, develop, and optimise SQL queries that feed next‑generation AI training pipelines across finance, healthcare, and engineering domains.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise complex SQL queries for AI data training pipelines and analytics.
• Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to translate data requirements into effective SQL solutions.
• Analyse large datasets to extract insights and ensure data integrity for machine‑learning workflows.
• Implement and maintain database structures that support efficient data processing and retrieval.
• Document technical processes and create user‑facing documentation for SQL workflows.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and perform performance tuning of SQL scripts and stored procedures.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders to improve pipeline efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience writing and optimising complex SQL queries.
• Strong background in handling large datasets for analytical or machine‑learning purposes.
• Familiarity with database design principles and efficient data retrieval systems.
• Excellent documentation skills and ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
