Remote Dental CAD/CAM Support Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Remote Dental CAD/CAM Support Technician to provide technical assistance to dental laboratories and clinics. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software, guiding users through digital dental workflows, and ensuring smooth production of restorations from a home‑based location.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver remote technical support for dental CAD/CAM systems and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including milling machines and 3D printers.
• Train users on digital dental software and workflow optimization.
• Manage support tickets, document resolutions, and assist with software setup and updates.
• Escalate complex problems to senior team members when necessary.

Required profile

• Proficient written and spoken English.
• Strong problem‑solving, organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated and able to work independently during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
• Experience in a dental lab or CAD/CAM environment is preferred.
• Certified Dental Technician (CDT) or equivalent experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Dental CAD/CAM software such as Exocad or 3Shape.
• Knowledge of dental milling, 3D printing and digital dentistry workflows.
• Understanding of dental materials (zirconia, PMMA) and implant restorations.
• Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and standard business tools.
