Remote DevOps Engineer – Cloud & AI Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a Remote DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure that powers next‑generation AI systems. The role is contract‑based and offers the chance to work with a global leader in AI, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, automated solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable AWS cloud environments using Kubernetes for AI model training and evaluation.
• Automate deployment pipelines, monitoring, and configuration management with tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery across environments.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and resolve potential outages proactively.
• Establish and enforce security best practices, supporting compliance and data‑protection requirements.
• Document processes and communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and managing scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS with a strong focus on Kubernetes.
• Hands‑on expertise in automating deployment pipelines and configuration management.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and system performance monitoring.
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance requirements in a DevOps context.
• Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
