Remote DevOps Engineer – Contract (CI/CD, Cloud, IaC)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Contract DevOps Engineer to design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for a global technology leader. The role focuses on automating software delivery, ensuring high availability, and optimizing cost across AWS, Azure or GCP environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements for reliability.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to apply DevOps best practices.
• Support cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) ensuring scalability and cost‑optimization.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong background in infrastructure‑as‑code and cloud environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and improve reliability.
• Effective communication and teamwork across cross‑functional groups.
