Remote DevOps Engineer – Contract (CI/CD, Cloud, Terraform)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a leading global IT services and consulting firm on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines and automated infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in production and staging environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of applications.
• Implement and enforce security best practices in infrastructure and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong experience on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Hands‑on experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack.
• Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Git version control and branching strategies.
