Remote DevOps Engineer (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Remote DevOps Engineer on a contract basis to design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated infrastructure for a global IT services leader. The role supports software development teams by ensuring reliable, secure and scalable deployment processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Terraform, Ansible or equivalent.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in production and staging environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of applications.
• Implement and enforce security best practices in infrastructure and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Hands‑on experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and branching strategies.
