Remote DevOps Engineer (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Remote DevOps Engineer on a contract basis to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for a global IT services leader. The role focuses on automation, cloud infrastructure, and ensuring reliable deployments across development and production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production and staging issues, and implement logging and alerting.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployments and integrations.
• Apply security best practices throughout infrastructure and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and branching strategies.
