Remote Electrical Engineer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a contract Electrical Engineer to work remotely on high‑impact projects across multiple industries. The role involves full‑cycle design, development and validation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with standards and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and simulate electrical circuits, power and control systems using industry‑standard tools.
• Create and review schematics, PCB layouts and wiring diagrams in line with safety regulations.
• Conduct failure mode analysis, root‑cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software and systems engineers to integrate electrical components into complete solutions.
• Validate designs through prototyping, testing and documentation, meeting relevant certifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum three years of hands‑on experience with analog and digital circuit design, power distribution and embedded systems.
• Proven ability to work in Agile or structured engineering environments and manage version control.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD tools such as Altium or KiCad for schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Experience using simulation tools like SPICE, MATLAB or Simulink.
• Familiarity with IEC, UL and IPC standards.
• Version control using Git.
