Remote Frontend Engineer – JavaScript/TypeScript

About the role

We are looking for a remote Frontend Engineer to join a leading AI company on a contract, part‑time basis. You will design and build high‑performance web interfaces that feed real‑world data into next‑generation AI models across finance, healthcare, engineering and other domains.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable web interfaces using JavaScript and TypeScript for applications in finance, healthcare, engineering, and other domains.
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high‑quality, cross‑functional solutions.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
• Implement best practices in frontend engineering, including code reviews and continuous integration, to maintain robust and maintainable codebases.
• Translate complex requirements into clean, efficient, and reusable code components while troubleshooting, debugging, and enhancing existing systems.
• Communicate clearly and proactively through written and verbal channels, contributing to a strong team culture and collaborative workflow.

Required profile

• Proven proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript and solid understanding of modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience building scalable web interfaces with a focus on performance optimization and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams including designers, product managers, and backend engineers.
• Knowledge of frontend engineering best practices such as code reviews, continuous integration, and version control.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to translate complex requirements into clean, reusable code.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proactive collaborative approach.
