Remote Frontend Web Developer (HTML/CSS) – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a contract Frontend Web Developer to create and maintain responsive user interfaces using HTML and CSS. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while collaborating with design and development teams on a high‑traffic platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front‑end components using HTML, CSS, and related technologies.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and responsive design across devices.
• Translate mockups from Figma, Sketch, or similar tools into pixel‑perfect UI elements.
• Optimize front‑end performance and adhere to accessibility standards.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to front‑end best practices.

Required profile

• Proficiency in HTML and CSS with strong semantic markup knowledge.
• Experience with responsive design principles and mobile‑first approaches.
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS) or frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind).
• Ability to use browser developer tools for debugging and performance tuning.
• Capability to implement designs from Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools.
