Remote Go Developer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Go Developer to join a leading software development client on a contract basis. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while building high‑performance backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs using Go.
• Optimize backend services for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure architectural consistency and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of hands‑on Go (Golang) development experience.
• Proven experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Strong understanding of concurrency, data structures, and algorithms in Go.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker).
