Remote Golang Developer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Golang Developer to join a global software leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to high‑performance backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend services using Go in a distributed system.
• Optimize existing services for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following industry best practices.
• Debug and resolve production issues with minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to define technical requirements.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of hands‑on Go (Golang) development experience.
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including query optimization.
