Remote KYC Analyst

About the role

FinCheck is seeking a Remote KYC Analyst to join its compliance team. The analyst will execute and continuously improve customer due‑diligence processes for clients in FinTech, crypto, gaming, and other regulated sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify customer information, identify beneficial owners and assess risk profiles in line with regulatory and internal policies.
• Perform sanctions and adverse‑media screening and flag potential issues for escalation.
• Maintain clear records of KYC decisions and support periodic reviews and remediation activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve onboarding queries and ensure timely client onboarding.
• Contribute to process enhancements, stay updated on relevant regulations, and support training and quality‑assurance initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong analytical abilities with capacity to interpret complex data and assess risk.
• Professional communication skills for interaction with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Experience in customer onboarding, KYC reviews and documentation verification.
• Foundational knowledge of finance, financial products and services.
• Understanding of sanctions screening, AML concepts and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, law, economics or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple cases efficiently.
