Remote Law Clerk – Commercial Real Estate & Energy

About the role

We are seeking a remote Law Clerk to support a global leader in the commercial real estate and energy sectors. The position is contract‑based and offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while handling high‑value transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and finalize commercial real estate and energy contracts, lease agreements and related transactional documents.
• Conduct legal research on real‑estate and energy law, including regulatory compliance and due‑diligence matters.
• Manage and organize transactional documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
• Coordinate with internal legal teams, clients and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all legal correspondence and documents for current and future reference.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or enrollment in an accredited law school with at least two years completed.
• Prior experience as a law clerk, legal assistant or similar role, preferably in commercial real estate or energy.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple documents simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing contracts and lease agreements.
• Experience using legal research databases such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.
