Remote M&A Attorney – Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced M&A Attorney to join a leading technology and internet company on a contract basis. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while providing legal expertise for high‑impact mergers and acquisitions.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate merger and acquisition agreements, including purchase, asset purchase and stock purchase agreements.
• Conduct comprehensive due‑diligence investigations on target entities and identify legal risks.
• Advise on corporate governance, securities regulations and compliance matters related to M&A transactions.
• Collaborate with finance, tax and operations teams to ensure smooth transaction execution.
• Ensure all transaction documentation meets legal standards and mitigates potential liabilities.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in a state bar with at least three years of experience in M&A transactions.
• Demonstrated experience with domestic and cross‑border M&A deals.
