Remote Mechanical Engineer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to join a global manufacturing leader on a contract basis. This fully remote position allows you to design, analyze, and optimize mechanical systems while collaborating with cross‑functional teams worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test mechanical components and systems to meet project specifications.
• Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and documentation using CAD software.
• Perform structural, thermal, and fluid dynamics simulations to validate designs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure cost‑effective production and quality control.
• Conduct failure analysis and propose design improvements based on test results.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience with CAD tools and engineering simulation software.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials science, and industry standards.
