Remote Medical Specialist – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Medical Specialist to join our client’s team on a contract basis. This remote position involves reviewing and assessing medical cases for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards, helping to ensure high‑quality patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Review medical records, test results, and case histories to determine validity and relevance.
• Assess diagnoses, treatments, and procedures for alignment with medical guidelines and best practices.
• Provide detailed written evaluations and recommendations based on clinical expertise.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to verify case details and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and other privacy regulations.

Required profile

• Board certification or active license in a medical specialty (e.g., MD, DO, NP, PA).
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a relevant medical field.
• Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting complex medical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Understanding of HIPAA and other privacy regulations.
