Remote Paralegal – Contract (Legal Document Prep)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Paralegal to support a global legal services leader. The contractor will assist with document preparation, legal research, and case management, ensuring files are organized and deadlines met.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research using databases and other resources to support case preparation.
• Organize and maintain both physical and digital case files, guaranteeing accuracy and easy access.
• Assist with client communications, drafting responses and scheduling consultations.
• Verify procedural deadlines and requirements to ensure timely filing and compliance.

Required profile

• Experience preparing legal documents and managing case files in line with procedural standards.
• Proficiency with legal research tools and databases.
• Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills for interacting with clients and legal professionals.
• Familiarity with court filing procedures and deadline management.
