Remote Part-Time Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a remote, part‑time Cyber Security Analyst to monitor and analyze security events for a global technology leader. The role focuses on protecting systems and data by detecting threats, investigating incidents, and implementing controls.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security events from SIEM platforms, firewalls, and IDS/IPS solutions.
• Investigate incidents, assess scope and impact, and determine root causes.
• Implement and maintain security controls to reduce risk.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation.
• Prepare detailed incident reports with findings and recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience with SIEM tools and incident response.
• Strong analytical skills for log and network traffic analysis.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Attention to detail and solid problem‑solving abilities.

• Splunk or QRadar (SIEM platforms)
