Remote Physics Professor (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Physics Professor/Researcher to join a global leader in education, research services, and technology on a contract basis. The role is fully remote, allowing you to conduct high‑impact quantum physics research, publish findings, and mentor junior researchers from anywhere in the world.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent and collaborative research in quantum mechanics, condensed matter, or high‑energy physics.
• Publish original research in peer‑reviewed journals and present at international conferences.
• Supervise graduate students and postdoctoral researchers, providing project guidance and manuscript review.
• Develop and refine theoretical models to explain experimental observations or propose new hypotheses.
• Secure external funding through grant applications and partnerships with academic or industry partners.

Required profile

• PhD in Physics with specialization in quantum physics, condensed matter, or high‑energy physics.
• Minimum 5 years of postdoctoral research experience in a relevant field.
• Proven track record of publishing in top‑tier journals such as Physical Review Letters or Nature Physics.
• Experience mentoring graduate students and junior researchers in a university or research‑lab setting.
• Demonstrated ability to write successful grant proposals and manage research projects.
