Remote Physics Professor – Contract (PhD)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Physics Professor to join a global leader in education and research services on a contract basis. This fully remote position allows you to lead advanced quantum physics research, publish high‑impact papers, and mentor junior researchers from anywhere in the world.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent and collaborative research in quantum mechanics, condensed matter, or high‑energy physics.
• Publish original research in top‑tier peer‑reviewed journals and present at international conferences.
• Supervise graduate students and postdoctoral researchers, providing project guidance and manuscript review.
• Develop and refine theoretical models to explain experimental data or propose new hypotheses.
• Secure external funding through grant applications and partnerships with academic or industry partners.

Required profile

• PhD in Physics with a specialization in quantum physics, condensed matter, or high‑energy physics.
• Minimum 5 years of postdoctoral research experience.
• Proven track record of publishing in top‑tier journals such as Physical Review Letters or Nature Physics.
• Experience mentoring graduate students and junior researchers.
• Demonstrated ability to obtain research funding.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python for computational physics.
• Experience with Mathematica.
• Familiarity with COMSOL Multiphysics.
