Remote Supply Chain Manager – $40‑$65/hr

About the role

We are seeking a Remote Supply Chain Manager to lead end‑to‑end logistics for a high‑volume e‑commerce platform. The contractor will coordinate procurement, inventory, and vendor relationships to ensure seamless order fulfillment across multiple time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply‑chain strategies that optimise procurement, production and distribution.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, monitor performance and mitigate risks.
• Oversee inventory levels across several warehouses to avoid stockouts and excess holding costs.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to streamline shipping, customs clearance and last‑mile delivery.
• Analyse supply‑chain data to identify inefficiencies and recommend cost‑reduction improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing supply‑chain operations in e‑commerce or retail environments.
• Proficiency with supply‑chain software such as SAP, Oracle or JDA.
• Strong knowledge of logistics, freight forwarding and customs compliance.
• Excellent analytical skills for evaluating performance metrics.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
