Remote Tax Consultant (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Consultant to join a leading finance organization on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing your expertise to the development of AI systems that process real‑world tax information.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze U.S. federal and state tax statutes, focusing on statutory language, conditions, thresholds, and legal exceptions.
• Review English translations of complex tax laws for accuracy and clarity.
• Provide structured written feedback through a review UI to ensure regulatory compliance and high‑quality output.
• Apply logical reasoning to identify inconsistencies, ambiguities, and gaps in tax documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to clarify interpretations and resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of U.S. tax law, including federal and state statutes, regulations, and court decisions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficient written communication skills with the ability to deliver clear, concise feedback.
• Logical reasoning and critical‑thinking capabilities.
