Remote Tax Consultant (EA/CPA)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Tax Consultant (EA/CPA) to join a leading finance organization on a remote contract basis. The role focuses on providing high‑quality tax expertise to train next‑generation AI systems, ensuring accurate interpretation of US tax statutes.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze US federal and state tax statutes, including conditions, thresholds, logic, and legal exceptions.
• Review English translations of complex tax laws for accuracy and clarity.
• Provide structured written feedback through a review UI to guarantee regulatory compliance.
• Identify inconsistencies, ambiguities, and gaps in tax documentation using logical reasoning.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to clarify interpretations and resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• EA or CPA certification with strong understanding of US federal and state tax law.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficient written communication skills for clear feedback.
• Strong logical reasoning and critical thinking.
