Reporter – Full‑time On‑site Position

About the role

Giga Developers is seeking a full‑time Reporter to work on‑site in Haripur District. You will research, verify and transform information about company activities, initiatives and industry trends into clear, accurate news stories, articles and internal reports.

Key responsibilities

• Research and gather information on company projects, initiatives and industry developments.
• Conduct interviews with team members, trainees, clients and other stakeholders.
• Write, edit and publish news copy, articles and internal reports.
• Prepare multimedia content (photos, audio, video) to support stories.
• Collaborate with marketing and training teams to highlight key projects.
• Maintain a consistent reporting schedule and help shape the organization’s public narrative.
• Document progress on initiatives such as Skilling Pakistan.

Required profile

• Strong reporting and news‑writing abilities with a focus on fact‑checking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies or related field, or equivalent experience.
• High attention to detail, ethical judgment and inclusive reporting standards.
• Comfortable working on‑site, meeting deadlines and handling multiple assignments.
• Willingness to quickly learn about IT, software, web and digital services.

Required skills

• Multimedia content creation (basic photo, audio, video skills).
