Retail Analytics Manager – Banking

About the role

The Retail Analytics Manager will lead the development of business intelligence for the Retail Banking Group, delivering comprehensive performance insights across segments, products and channels. The role involves analysing variance indicators, performing root‑cause analysis and providing actionable recommendations to drive growth and improve portfolio performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and publish monthly analytics packs covering business units, segments, branches, products and channels.
• Identify, analyse and report material positive and negative variance indicators, performing root‑cause analysis and recommending corrective actions.
• Analyse customer segments and micro‑segments using profitability, product usage, demographics and behavioural data to uncover targeting opportunities.
• Support scenario planning for growth, attrition and channel management, and advise segment heads on portfolio correction.
• Lead BI‑driven telesales teams and collaborate with product teams to address sales and attrition trends.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in financial services business intelligence within a multi‑product retail banking environment.
• MBA in Finance and Marketing or equivalent qualification.
• Proven team leadership experience.
