SaaS Content Writer

About the role

Cedar Financial is seeking a SaaS Content Writer to transform complex fintech and B2B software concepts into clear, compelling content that attracts, educates, and converts decision‑makers. You will work across the full funnel, collaborating with product, sales, and SEO teams to drive pipeline and product adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Write top‑, middle‑, and bottom‑of‑funnel content including blogs, guides, comparison pages, product articles, and case studies.
• Create product‑marketing assets such as feature announcements, release notes, landing pages, and onboarding help‑center content.
• Develop UX microcopy for interfaces (CTAs, tooltips, error messages, onboarding flows).
• Produce sales enablement materials like whitepapers, eBooks, battlecards, and one‑pagers.
• Craft email nurture sequences, newsletters, product launch emails, and in‑app messages.
• Apply SEO best practices using keyword research, on‑page optimization, and internal linking guidance.
• Collaborate with SMEs to turn technical input into benefit‑driven copy for B2B buyers.
• Track content performance and refresh assets based on traffic, engagement, and pipeline influence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications or related field.
• 3+ years of content writing experience, with at least 2 years in B2B SaaS, fintech or technology.
• Strong portfolio of published SaaS or B2B content (blogs, product pages, case studies).
• Excellent English writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to understand complex software products and explain them to technical and business audiences.
• Working knowledge of SEO copywriting tools and processes.
• Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, HubSpot) and collaboration tools (Google Docs, Notion, Asana, ClickUp).
• Strong organization and time‑management skills to meet multiple deadlines.
