Sales Specialist – Freight Forwarding

About the role

The Sales Specialist (Freight Forwarding) will work full‑time on‑site in Karachi, driving new business and supporting existing clients in the shipping and logistics sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in freight forwarding, export and transportation services.
• Prepare, present and negotiate quotations, rates and terms with prospects and existing customers.
• Coordinate with operations teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments and timely updates to clients.
• Maintain strong customer relationships, resolve service issues and track shipments.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in sales or business development within shipping, logistics or freight forwarding.
• Strong communication, negotiation and client‑relationship skills.
• Ability to work on‑site in Karachi, manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field (preferred).

Required skills

• Knowledge of freight forwarding and international logistics processes.
• Understanding of export documentation, compliance and customs coordination.
• Familiarity with freight transportation modes, routing and cost optimisation.
• Proficiency with basic office software and CRM tools; experience with logistics management systems is a plus.
