Salesforce Architect – Health Cloud / Life Sciences

About the role

The Salesforce Architect – Patient Services is a senior, hands‑on individual contributor responsible for the end‑to‑end solution architecture of engagements built on Salesforce Health Cloud and Life Sciences Cloud. The role is fully remote with limited travel (≤10%).

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture for Patient Services solutions, covering Health Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud/Data 360, and MuleSoft as needed.
• Design data models for patient‑centric objects (Care Programs, Enrollees, Plans, Requests, etc.) ensuring scalability and compliance.
• Define security, sharing, and PHI handling architecture to meet HIPAA and regulated data requirements.
• Architect integrations with specialty pharmacy, hub vendors, EHR/EMR, payers, benefits verification, and patient‑facing channels (SMS, email, portal, IVR).
• Create patient and HCP portal experiences on Experience Cloud, handling authentication, delegation, and identity.
• Provide hands‑on technical leadership across configuration, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and integration design; review code and design artifacts.
• Conduct technical discovery and architecture workshops with client stakeholders across operations, IT, security, and compliance.
• Translate clinical and commercial requirements into validated, pragmatic solution designs.

Required profile

• Senior‑level Salesforce professional with extensive experience in Health Cloud and Life Sciences Cloud.
• Proven ability to design and implement secure, HIPAA‑compliant solutions.
• Strong communication skills to lead workshops and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Hands‑on coding expertise and a track record of delivering scalable architectures.
