Salesperson - Freight Forwarding

About the role

Magnet Logistics International, a freight forwarding company offering end-to-end air, sea and land logistics solutions, is hiring a full-time, on-site Salesperson for its Karachi Division. The Salesperson identifies and qualifies new business opportunities, builds relationships with existing and prospective clients and presents tailored logistics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Conduct client meetings and calls, and prepare and follow up on quotations and proposals
• Negotiate rates and service agreements
• Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery
• Track sales performance, maintain accurate records in the CRM system, monitor market trends and competitor activity
• Provide regular reports and feedback to management

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Prior experience in logistics or freight forwarding sales is highly desirable
• Ability to work on-site in the Karachi Division, manage time effectively and handle multiple client engagements at once
• Strong problem-solving mindset, resilience in a fast-paced commercial environment and commitment to ethical, inclusive business practices

Required skills

• Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets in a B2B environment
• Knowledge of freight forwarding, logistics and supply chain processes, preferably international shipping
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Customer relationship management, including prospecting, lead nurturing and account management
• Proficiency in basic office and CRM software
