Senior Accountant

About the role

Bearaby is looking for a hands‑on Senior Accountant to own the day‑to‑day accounting functions for its direct‑to‑consumer business. You will manage the books in QuickBooks, ensure timely month‑end closes, and keep inventory records accurate while working remotely from India alongside a US‑based finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks, including bills, invoices, and bank entries.
• Close the books each month, targeting completion by the 20th.
• Perform GAAP‑compliant revenue and expense matching.
• Track and reconcile inventory using Google Sheets.
• Complete account reconciliations and support financial reporting.
• Assist with month‑end close, audit preparation, and MIS reporting.
• Handle additional accounting or audit‑related tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and general ledger processes.
• Experience in e‑commerce accounting and inventory costing.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good English communication and ability to work across US time zones.
