Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Karachi. The role involves managing full‑cycle accounting for a dynamic online business, ensuring accurate financial records and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all bookkeeping functions and maintain up‑to‑date financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, cash flow statements, and balance sheets.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and monthly payroll.
• Reconcile bank and credit‑card transactions with zero tolerance for errors.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve accounting workflows and internal controls.
• Liaise with tax consultants and external auditors to ensure compliance and smooth audits.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of bookkeeping experience.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on financial statement preparation.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Prior experience in the retail industry is a strong plus.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA or equivalent.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Google Sheets.
• Cloud accounting platforms – Zoho, QuickBooks, or Xero.
