Senior Accountant – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Senior Accountant to lead end‑to‑end accounting operations within our manufacturing unit. The role will own financial reporting, cost control and compliance while collaborating closely with production, procurement and audit teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities and prepare financial statements, P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow reports.
• Ensure timely MIS reporting to management.
• Monitor product costing, bill of materials, variance analysis and manage raw material, WIP and finished‑goods inventory.
• Coordinate monthly stock counts and reconcile inventory with ERP records.
• Supervise vendor payments, customer receipts, aging analysis and manage bank reconciliations, LCs and import documentation.
• Monitor cash flow and forecast working‑capital needs.
• Strengthen internal controls and SOPs in a manufacturing environment.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cost‑reduction initiatives.

Required profile

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / ACCA / CA‑Inter qualification.
• 3–4 years of accounting experience in the manufacturing sector.
• Detail‑oriented, deadline‑driven and a team player with leadership potential.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• ERP systems – SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks or similar.
• Cost accounting and knowledge of tax regulations.
