Senior Accountant – Remote (Full‑Cycle Bookkeeping)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to support eCommerce founders by delivering accurate, reliable financials. You will work with a talented, globally‑distributed team in a tech‑forward, remote‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Full‑Cycle Bookkeeping: manage reconciliations, A/P, A/R, journal entries and maintain accurate ledgers for multiple clients.
• Month‑End and Year‑End Close: prepare schedules, tie out balance sheets and deliver timely, error‑free reporting.
• Payroll & Accruals: record payroll entries, prepaids and accruals consistently.
• Sales Tax & Compliance: handle filings, remittances and compliance across jurisdictions.
• Process Improvement: identify automation opportunities and suggest workflow enhancements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a firm or multi‑client setting.
• Excellent English communication and documentation skills.
• Detail‑oriented, reliable and self‑sufficient with a strong sense of ownership.

Required skills

• High proficiency in QuickBooks Online (certification a plus).
• ACCA accreditation or equivalent (or in progress).
