Senior Accountant (Remote)

About the role

Protrade International FZCO is seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant to work remotely from Karachi. The role supports the Financial Manager in daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and timely tax and audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed financial reports and accurate account statements.
• Manage general ledger entries and ensure timely updates.
• Perform regular account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Implement and monitor internal control procedures.
• Prepare tax returns, handle VAT documentation, and assist in tax planning.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit cycles.
• Collaborate closely with the Financial Manager on all accounting functions.
• Utilize ERP software to streamline processes and improve reporting efficiency.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.
• Maintain confidentiality of all financial information.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of accounting experience.
• ACCA certification.
• Proven ability to work under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication in a remote work environment.
