Senior Accountant – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support eCommerce founders by delivering accurate, reliable financials. You will join a fully remote, tech‑forward team that values autonomy, continuous improvement, and collaborative culture.

Key responsibilities

• Full‑cycle bookkeeping: manage reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, and maintain accurate ledgers for multiple clients.
• Month‑end and year‑end close: prepare schedules, reconcile balance sheets, and deliver timely, error‑free reporting.
• Payroll and accruals: record payroll entries, prepaid expenses, and accruals consistently.
• Sales tax and compliance: handle filings, remittances, and ensure compliance across jurisdictions.
• Process improvement: identify automation opportunities and suggest workflow enhancements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a firm or multi‑client environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• High proficiency with QuickBooks Online (certification a plus).
• ACCA accreditation or equivalent, or in progress.
• Detail‑oriented, reliable, self‑sufficient and proactive in asking questions.
