Senior Accountant (UK Tax & Payroll)

About the role

Vision Consulting Pakistan is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage UK‑based accounting, tax and payroll functions for its clients. The role involves preparing statutory financial statements, handling corporation tax, VAT and personal tax returns, and supporting payroll processing.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain financial records (bookkeeping) using Xero, QuickBooks, VT, Sage 50 and Excel.
• Analyse financial data with appropriate tools and techniques.
• Prepare financial statements with disclosures required by FRS‑105 and FRS‑102.
• Compute corporation tax in accordance with UK legislation.
• Draft correspondence letters and related documents.
• Submit financial statements and corporation tax returns to Companies House and HMRC.
• Prepare VAT returns under UK VAT legislation.
• Prepare individual personal income tax returns under UK tax rules.
• Update monthly payroll using Sage 50 payroll software.

Required profile

• ACCA Affiliate or Finalist qualification.
• Minimum 1.5 years experience in a reputable organization in a similar role.
• Experience in a UK‑based firm is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication and computer skills.
• Solid understanding of accounting and financial processes.
• Ethical and professional behaviour.
