Senior Backend Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Backend Engineer to lead the architecture and implementation of our cloud‑native infrastructure. This foundational role will build the scalable, resilient, and secure microservices platform that powers our AI agents and developer tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain resilient microservices (auth, payments, agent orchestration).
• Develop backend systems that manage the lifecycle of long‑running agentic tasks, including state management and asynchronous communication (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Architect containerized execution environments using Docker and Kubernetes for secure remote sandboxing.
• Deploy and manage high‑throughput LLM inference servers (NVIDIA Triton, vLLM) and wrap them with inference APIs.
• Design, secure, and operate core APIs (REST and gRPC) for both public and internal services.
• Build high‑throughput data ingestion pipelines for telemetry and training data.
• Implement authentication (OAuth2/OIDC) and payment/subscription systems (Stripe).
• Own Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and full‑stack observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger).

Required profile

• Senior backend engineer with proven experience in microservice architectures.
• Expertise in designing clean, secure, high‑performance APIs (REST and gRPC).
• Deep knowledge of both SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis) databases.
• Hands‑on experience building and scaling backend systems for LLM use cases.
• Strong background in observability tooling and authentication/authorization mechanisms.
• Experience integrating payment gateways such as Stripe.
