Senior Data Scientist

About the role

Ustossdown is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead data‑driven initiatives across its SaaS marketing platform for the food industry. You will work closely with product, engineering, marketing and business teams to turn complex data into actionable insights that boost e‑commerce performance and drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean and analyze large, multi‑source datasets to uncover trends, anomalies and correlations.
• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines for extraction, transformation and loading.
• Develop and validate statistical models and machine‑learning algorithms for customer behavior, demand forecasting and performance optimization.
• Create predictive models, evaluate their performance and iterate using appropriate metrics.
• Build Python‑based tools and dashboards to visualize insights and support decision‑making.
• Implement data monitoring, validation and quality‑assurance processes to ensure reliability.
• Translate technical results into clear business recommendations for leadership and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• 3‑4 years of professional experience in data science, machine learning or advanced analytics with large‑scale datasets.
• Strong understanding of statistical thinking, data structures and analytical methods.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and communicate insights effectively.
