Senior DevOps Engineer (Puppet)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Puppet to lead cloud automation initiatives and ensure service level agreements are met. You will work closely with development and operations teams to design, build, and maintain reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain adherence to SLAs and communicate status of urgent issues and projects.
• Design, develop, and support automation modules using Puppet and related technologies.
• Troubleshoot Puppet Enterprise, Linux, networking, and load‑balancing components.
• Collaborate with development engineers to create CI/CD pipelines and deploy applications in cloud environments.
• Implement and manage environments for QA, development, and production.
• Ensure infrastructure security, reliability, and scalability.
• Provide direct server support during deployments and production operations.
• Automate Linux application deployment, system configuration, and security settings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 3–7 years of professional experience with Puppet scripting and automation.
• Hands‑on experience with Ansible, Chef, Terraform, CloudFormation, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong knowledge of Linux distributions (RHEL 8, CentOS, Ubuntu, Amazon Linux).
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
