Senior Electrical Engineer

About the role

JI EVs is seeking a full‑time Senior Electrical Engineer to join its on‑site team in Chishtian. The role focuses on designing, analyzing, and optimizing electrical systems for electric motorcycles, including battery management, power distribution, and control circuitry.

Key responsibilities

• Develop schematics, layouts, and simulations for vehicle electrical systems.
• Select components and ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams to integrate electrical systems.
• Support prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting during development and production.
• Document designs and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Experience with EV or automotive electrical systems, battery technologies, and safety standards.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and cross‑functional communication skills.

Required skills

• Electrical design for vehicle systems, including schematics and circuit layouts.
• Power systems knowledge: energy storage, conversion, and control for EV applications.
• Power distribution design for low‑ and high‑voltage systems.
• Proficiency with electrical CAD tools, simulation software, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, standards, and test reports.
